Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, or Data & Analytics or equivalent experience in data architecture, data management or data analytics. As needed, develop, implement, and support the processes and best practices for data profiling, data quality and data mapping required for the tactical implementation of the Western Alliance Bank data strategy and roadmap. As needed, prepare analysis findings, and communicate to both business and technical stakeholders. As needed, execute data profiling and source data analysis for critical Western Alliance Bank applications and systems. Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions. Participate with the data architect, data platform architect and other team members to develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models. Maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with corresponding metadata. Create and/or optimize logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy as well as support new projects. Collaborate and influence our engineering teams to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models. Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting the tactical execution of our long-term enterprise data strategy. The ideal candidate has high data architecture aptitude, a growth mindset, is outcome-focused, and fosters effective collaboration. As necessary, assist with the source to target mapping for our data flow engineering. In this role, you provide data analysis as needed from our source systems and enterprise data warehouses. You have the opportunity and privilege to maintain and influence the ways the organization uses data. You play a critical role in maintaining data integrity by working to eliminate data redundancy across our systems and business lines. 
You are a key member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Team which is commissioned to modernize our corporate data ecosystems.Īs the Data Modeler Analyst, you establish artifacts and models to manage the flow of information across Western Alliance Bank and between departments using relational databases and modern cloud data architectures. You do not work alone but partner with the Data Architect, Data Analysts, Data Platform Architect, and business stakeholders. Your work will accelerate our data and technical transformation and is a key building block to efficiently getting the right data to the right people at the right time. What you'll do:As the Data Modeler Analyst, you are accountable to develop data models that meet the needs of the Western Alliance Bank business information systems and in accordance with our enterprise data management and analytics strategy.
